The wait is over. It was only a 2-week break, but it felt almost like eternity for the League’s lovers. The Premier League is back with game week 24 and the drama can only get more intense.
Manchester City surprisingly dropped points and, somehow, the gap between them and second-placed Liverpool does not seem so unassailable anymore.
Newcastle has now had its chance to beef up the squad and, boy have they spent big. They spent £92m on five players, including Brazilian sensation, Bruno Guimaraes from Ligue 1. Will it be enough to survive relegation?
There is plenty to look forward to this midweek. The excitement continues.
