Crystal Palace and Everton played out a 0-0 draw while Brighton struggled to get a 1-1 draw at home to Newcastle United.
On Sunday, Leicester City thrashed Arsenal 3-0, Manchester City ground out a 1-0 win over Burnley and Manchester United and Chelsea played a barren draw.
