High-class Entertainment Awaits In Premier League Gameweek 19

A preview of what to expect in Premier League Gameweek 19

The Premier League champions, Manchester City, dropped points against Everton. Yet, it was a brilliant result for Frank Lampard, who is already walking on a loose, tiny thread. Indeed, the Toffees were resilient and effective. Perhaps they deserved it too.

But what does this mean for the potential title winners? Arsenal were rampant against Brighton, at least for most of it. The Seagulls attempted a late comeback of some sort.

Antonio Conte has had a rough restart

Even now, Manchester City’s next set of matches are dicey. Pep Guardiola’s men face Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham in the space of two weeks.

Chelsea were lacklustre against Nottingham Forest. At times, there were clues to what Graham Potter is about and what he is looking to achieve with this team. But is time running out for the English manager?

Tottenham’s early luck seems to have run out. Without dominating opponents, Antonio Conte’s charges were garnering the right results. But the Londoners have won just once in their last three league matches.

Some blockbuster matches are set for Gameweek 19, with lots of excitement to come.

Review Of Gameweek 18

Last weekend’s football action was laden with some unusual results.

Ivan Toney was once again on target, as Brentford eased past a struggling West Ham side 2-0.

Wout Faes made the headlines for the wrong reasons as his brace of own-goals helped Liverpool come from behind to defeat Leicester City 2-1.

Faes had a game to forget against Liverpool

Marcus Rashford came off the bench to score the only goal and deliver maximum points to Manchester United against a tough Wolves team.

Manchester City were forced to a 1-1 draw by Everton after Erling Haaland opened the scoring early.

João Palhinha scored late in Fulham’s 2-1 win against Southampton.

Crystal Palace returned to winning ways courtesy of two goals from Jordan Ayew and Eberechi Eze against Bournemouth.

Newcastle and Leeds United settled for a goalless draw, while Arsenal earned a crucial 4-2 win against Brighton.

Aston Villa were excellent against Tottenham, defeating them 2-0.

Taiwo Awoniyi had an excellent afternoon against Chelsea as Nottingham Forest forced Chelsea to a 1-1 draw.
