The game has changed with respect to the chase for the Premier League title. Liverpool are currently showing the kind of relentlessness that Manchester City had shown for the previous two seasons.

The Reds are still 5 points ahead of the Cityzens and ahead of the potential title decider next month, both sides will want to keep racking up the points.

The identity of the front runners for the other two positions in the Top 4 (which guarantee UEFA Champions League football) is difficult to ascertain at the moment.

Chelsea under Frank Lampard looks and feels like a work in progress. There is little semblance of a plan at Manchester United while the North London clubs; Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are struggling for consistency.

Manchester City have continued to keep pace with Liverpool

Leicester City have been the standout performers amongst the “best of the rest” clubs. Under Brendan Rodgers’ tutelage, the Foxes currently sit in 3rd place on the Premier League table.
