Review of Gameweek 7
Gameweek 7 was expected to prove challenging for the top two teams and so it proved. Liverpool started off proceedings with a hard-fought 1-0 win away at Sheffield Wednesday thanks to a Georginio Wijnaldum strike.
Crystal Palace secured a good 2-0 win over Norwich City while Aston Villa and Burnley played out a 2-2 draw.
Another 2-2 cracker went down at the Vitality Stadium as Bournemouth and West Ham shared the spoils. Wolverhampton Wanderers got a much-needed 2-0 win over Watford as Tottenham Hotspur battled to a 2-1 win over a shot-shy Southampton.
Chelsea got its first home win of the season with a 2-0 victory over Brighton as Manchester City overcame a spirited Everton side 3-1 with a star performance from this season’s best player; Kevin de Bruyne.
Leicester City thrashed Newcastle United 5-0 at the King Power Stadium with a double from Jaime Vardy the highlight of the encounter.

In the Monday night game encounter between two fallen giants; Manchester United and Arsenal played a 1-1 draw with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang once again the hero for the Gunners.
