Premier League Resumes With Excitement In Gameweek 17

A preview of what to expect in Premier League Gameweek 17

Happy holidays, everyone!

The players are back, and so is the English Premier League. Yet, you ask: how do these players plunge back into regular programming after exerting themselves physically and mentally in Doha? Will there be any hangover effects from the World Cup?

Of course, we will find out today, beginning with the London derby between Brentford and Tottenham at lunchtime.

Arsenal lead the table, but they have now lost one of their best players, Gabriel Jesus, to a long-term injury. Will they fall away, leaving Manchester City to ramble to the title?

How well will the Gunners do in Jesus’ absence

But, what is Eddie Howe thinking? Can Newcastle continue from where they stopped in the first half and go all the way?

Everything points to a fascinating second half of the season, and we cannot wait to see how it unfolds. Surely, Boxing Day holds plenty of excitement for the fans.
