The 2018/2019 football season is in its last days across Europe and it has been a season to remember.
In England, Manchester City have thoroughly dominated this season winning the domestic treble; the Premier League, the FA Cup, and the Carabao Cup.
FC Barcelona has won La Liga and will go up against Valencia CF in the Copa Del Rey final while Juventus won its 8th consecutive Serie A title.
After a season-long battle, FC Bayern Munich piped Borussia Dortmund to win its 5th straight Bundesliga title as PSG have also lifted the Ligue 1 title.
An all-English final has ensued in the continental cup competitions. Arsenal will play Chelsea in the Europa League final in Baku, Azerbaijan next week Wednesday.
On Saturday, 1st of June, it will be curtains for club football in Europe officially as Liverpool FC and Tottenham Hotspurs clash in the UEFA Champions League final in Madrid.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Lots of events are scheduled to go down in June after the European football season has been concluded. This means that avid punters will continue to have the chance to win big with BetBiga.
AFCON
For the first time since its inception, the Africa Cup of Nations will be played in the summer (June – August) as opposed to the January dates it has been held since the inaugural edition in 1957.
With 24 teams as opposed to the original 16, the excitement, drama, and fun associated with the tournament is expected to be bigger than ever.
Host and record winners, Egypt will be anxious to lift the trophy again on home soil. 5-time winners, the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, three-time champions, the Super Eagles of Nigeria, the Fennecs of Algeria are among the big names expected to do big things at the tourney.
In its usual style, BetBiga will be giving bettors the best opportunities to win. In addition to our supersized odds, social media promos and crazy options will be available during the tournament.
COPA AMERICA
It is the oldest international continental football competition. The South American version of AFCON is known for its high-scoring games as well as the colourful atmosphere and a heady mixture of flair, skills, passion, thuggery and the dark arts.
The last two editions have seen the oh-so-near misses for Argentina and one man in particular, Lionel Messi. The penalty shootout losses in both finals to Chile; 2015 (held in Chile) and the Copa America Centenario (held in the USA in 2016) has come to define a generation of Argentine footballers.
With what seems to be his last chance at getting his hands on a trophy for his country, Messi’s personal demons have added extra spice to what promises to be a compelling tournament.
La Albiceleste has won the tournament 14 times (second only to River Plate rivals; Uruguay who have 15).
However, hosts, Brazil will come into the tourney as favourites. Despite the quarter-final ouster at the World Cup, the federation has kept faith with the manager, Tite.
The former Corinthians manager has named a 23-man squad that is by far the most accomplished of all 12 teams going to the tournament.
It is expected to be an amazing tournament and BetBiga will have all the games, amazing options, super odds and fast payouts you need.
NBA FINALS
It has been a long hard-fought season in the world’s premier club basketball competition. After months of grueling, non-stop action, the winners of both conferences are almost known.
Golden State Warriors have as expected, dominated the Western Conference and whipped Portland Trailblazers 4-0 in the conference finals.
They await the winners of the Eastern Conference finals currently tied at 2-2 all between Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors.
Lots of punters have made a killing off our NBA offers this season. There is more to be expected in the finals as the men from Oakland look to win their third consecutive championship title.
Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant and the other big names on the Golden State roster will be raring to go as they look to claim the franchise’s 7th NBA title (4th in the last ten years).
The Raptors have no idea what it feels like to win an NBA championship while the Bucks from Milwaukee won their only championship in 1971.
UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL
It has been an amazing rollercoaster of a season in Europe’s premier club competition. Nobody could have predicted what has unfolded.
Three-peat champions, Real Madrid, shorn of the brilliance of Cristiano Ronaldo looked ordinary and were thoroughly beaten by an effervescent Ajax in the second-round.
It has seen goals aplenty, amazing comebacks by the bucket loads, and chaos caused by the introduction of VAR amongst many other things.
For the 7th time in 20 seasons, the final to be played at the magnificent Estadio Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid will be played by two teams from the same league/nation.
Liverpool FC will be seeking its sixth UCL title after an amazing run that included games/wins against some of Europe’s biggest giants; PSG, Napoli, Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona amongst others.
Tottenham Hotspurs have suffered greatly without buying new players, a new stadium and lots of injuries. However, Mauricio Pochettino’s men have been resolute and have clung on for dear life to eliminate teams like Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City and Ajax.
Liverpool won both meetings in the just-concluded Premier League season and will go into the match as favourites. Expect the best odds and options from BetBiga for this showpiece.
