LEICESTER CITY VS NEWCASTLE (GG @ 1.95)

TOP FOUR DREAM ALMOST ACTUALIZED

Leicester have won each of their last three encounters with Newcastle

Leicester has won each of their last three meetings with Newcastle. The foxes have also kept two clean sheets in their last 11 league games.

It would take a monumental collapse for Leicester to drop out of the top four with just a quartet of fixtures left to contest. The Foxes can cement their Champions League status with a win against Newcastle United on Friday evening.

Leicester was frustrated by ten-man Southampton in their last outing and despite playing with an extra player for 80 minutes at St. Mary’s Stadium, Leicester could only muster a 1-1 draw against a determined Saints outfit.

On their own stomping ground, Leicester has finally shaken off their habit of letting points slip through their grasp, and their haul of three wins from their last four assignments at the King Power Stadium has allowed the team to build a late resilience.

Leicester have won each of their last three encounters with Newcastle and the Foxes will expect to make it four victories in a row against the Magpies on Friday evening, though the visitors could well plunder a consolation.

Remarkably, the foxes have kept just two clean sheets in their last 11 Premier League matches and a Newcastle side that found the net in five of their last seven matches could take a chance at the King Power Stadium.

Leicester have looked like more comfortable hosts in recent outings on home turf however, taking nine points from the last 12 on offer there, and bettors are advised to back a Leicester win with both teams to score as a result.

Newcastle has conceded exactly two goals in three of their last five games and in the reverse fixture against Leicester (1-2) in January.

RC LENS VS LILLE (X2 @1.25)

A BIG STEP TOWARDS THE FRENCH LIGUE 1 TITLE

Lille will hope to take another step towards the French Ligue 1 title

Lille will hope to take another step towards the French Ligue 1 title when they travel to the Stade Bollaert-Delelis for a clash against Lens. Lille has shown their quality in difficult fixtures this season and should come through another tricky clash against Lens.

Lens suffered a 2-1 defeat to PSG last time out in Ligue 1. Ignatius Ganago pulled one back after the Parisians went two goals up but they could not find a way back into the contest.

It was a result that ended a run of 13 straight matches without defeat for Lens. They remain fifth on the table but are now level on points with Marseille.

Manager Franck Haise will be keen to bounce back from that defeat despite their poor home record this season. They have claimed just four wins from their last 14 matches at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis, losing 3-1 to Angers and 1-0 to lowly Strasbourg in that run.

Lille came through comfortably in a tricky tie against Nice last time out in Ligue 1. Burak Yilmaz continued to roll back the years with an early opener while Mehmet Celik added the second after the break in a 2-0 victory.

Les Dogues appear to be unbothered about the mounting pressure from PSG as they have matched the champion’s win for win in recent weeks. They are gaining momentum at the right time with four wins in their last five matches leaving them one point clear at the top of the table.

Lille have surprisingly fared better on their travels with just one away defeat all season. Christophe Galtier has guided his team to 10 wins from their last 11 away matches, including a 3-2 victory at Lyon in their previous fixture on the road.

REAL SOCIEDAD VS ELCHE (1 @1.56)

TWO TEAMS WITH DIFFERENTS HOPES FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SEASON

Sociedad has stumbled slightly in recent weeks but should be too strong for Elche

Real Sociedad host Elche in a Spanish La Liga fixture at Reale Arena as they continue their push for a finish in the top six. Sociedad has stumbled slightly in recent weeks but should be too strong for Elche who are down in the relegation zone.

Sociedad lost 1-0 at Huesca last time out in La Liga. They had better opportunities with Ander Guevara and Alexander Isak both missing good chances before the break.

The result was a blow to Sociedad’s Europa League hopes but Real Betis’ failure to win against Valladolid means they remain fifth on the table with 53 points.

Imanol Alguacil will be keen to see his side return to winning ways having won the two matches prior to the defeat at Huesca.

One area that needs work for Sociedad is in defense where they have kept just one clean sheet in their last eight La Liga matches. They often rely on their attack to get past opponents with a 4-0 victory over Alaves and a 4-1 triumph against Cadiz among their recent results at home.

Elche will be feeling disappointed to have come away empty-handed against Atletico Madrid in their previous La Liga fixture. They frustrated the Madrid Club for much of the contest and had a chance to steal a point late on but Fidel Chivas struck the upright with a 90th-minute penalty as the game finished 1-0.

A draw would have seen Elche climb out of the bottom three but they remain in the relegation zone, one point from safety. The problem for Fran Escriba is, his team has shown little fight lately with just one win in their last nine La Liga matches.

Elche has an even worse record on their travels with no wins from their last 15 away matches. They have lost seven of their last eight away matches and suffered a 2-0 defeat at Osasuna in their last fixture on the road.

INTER MILAN VS SAMPDORIA (OVER 2.5 @1.54)

Inter Milan have been near perfect at home lately and should ease past Sampdoria

Fresh from clinching the Italian Serie A title, Inter Milan return to action with a clash against Sampdoria at San Siro.

The new champions have been near perfect at home lately and should ease past Sampdoria who have a poor record on the road.

Second-half goals from Christian Eriksen and Achraf Hakimi earned Inter Milan a 2-0 victory against Crotone in their previous Serie A fixture. Atalanta’s failure to win at Sassuolo handed the Nerazzurri the title with four matches to spare.

Unbeaten in 18 matches, Inter Milan has breezed clear of the chasing pack since the turn of the year. They are currently 13 points clear at the top of the table and will be keen to increase that lead before the end of the season.

Manager Antonio Conte has turned the San Siro into a fortress with Inter Milan suffering just one home defeat all season and winning their last 14 matches. While their attacking prowess has earned plenty of praise this season, their dogged defense has seen them over the line in recent weeks with six clean sheets in their last eight home matches.

Sampdoria earned a 2-0 victory over Roma last time out in Serie A. Adrien Silva opened the scoring right on the stroke of halftime while Jakub Jankto added the second after the restart.

The season appears to be over for Sampdoria as they look set to secure a midtable finish. They are ninth on the table, well behind in the race for continental places, and in no relegation trouble.

Claudio Ranieri’s men have claimed just one win in their last six matches. They suffered a 1-0 defeat against Sassuolo in their previous outing on the road.

BAYERN MUNICH VS BORUSSIA MONCHENGLADBACH (1 & GG @2.17)

ANOTHER BANNANA PEEL FOR BAYERN?

Monchengladbach has been dangerous opponents to Bayern but all they need is a win

Borussia Monchengladbach will look to keep alive their continental hopes when they travel to the Allianz Arena for a German Bundesliga clash against Bayern Munich.

Monchengladbach has been dangerous opponents to Bayern in recent times but the champions know a win would clinch the title.

Bayern Munich had to put the champagne on ice after a 2-1 defeat at Mainz delayed their Bundesliga title celebrations. They went two goals down in the first half and laboured for much of the contest before Robert Lewandowski pulled one back on the stroke of 90 minutes.

The Bavarians have not been at their usual dominant selves this season having crashed out in the UEFA Champions League and DFB Pokal. They can only win the Bundesliga this term and can clinch their 31st title with a win on Saturday.

Manager Hansi Flick will be pleased to have the chance to win the title on their own turf where they are usually dominant. They have won 20 of their last 25 home matches and defeated Bayer Leverkusen 2-0 in their last fixture at the Allianz Arena.

Borussia Monchengladbach was rampant last time out in the Bundesliga and a brace from Breel Embolo helped them to a 5-0 victory over Arminia Bielefeld. Alassane Plea, Ramy Bensebaini, and Marcus Thuram were also on target in a dominant win.

Sitting four points behind Bayer Leverkusen in the final Europa League spot, Monchengladbach will hope to build some traction in the final days of the season to keep their continental dream alive.

However, they are often unpredictable and head to the Allianz Arena with just four wins in their last 13 Bundesliga matches.
Manager Marco Rose has seen his side struggle on their travels lately with just one win in their last eight away matches.

They suffered a 3-1 defeat to Augsburg in that run and were also beaten 3-1 by Hoffenheim in their previous outing on the road.
