It is all about El-Clasico and so much more this weekend. Another weekend of betting is here and it is time to get the very best of punting advice on Betbiga.
Like I mentioned last week, games involving the big guns are going to be impacted by UEFA Champions League midweek exhaustion as well as preparations for return legs.
So, if you can, avoid the European campaigners as much as possible.
REAL MADRID VS BARCELONA
There is no bigger game this weekend in Europe than El Clasico. And it comes at a time both teams – and Atletico Madrid – are in a three-way battle for the league crown.
Barca moved ahead of Real with Monday’s nail-biting win against Rayo Valladolid. However, they come up against a team who I dare say under Zinedine Zidane, know how to win big clashes.
Real are without their first choice centre-backs in Ramos and Varane for this clash but are in good form having won all their last 5 matches across all competitions.
Barcelona on their part has won four and drawn one of their last five. Crucially, they have lost the last two Clasicos.
I’m going for a big call here.
I know Real Madrid will have their eyes on Wednesday’s return UEFA Champions League tie against Liverpool, but I expect Zidane to play his big guns. Simply put, Los Merengues (The Whites) needs the win, and with Barcelona still, to play Atletico, there’s a big chance to still win the La Liga title.
Real to win this one at 2.94 odds on Betbiga comes across as a big risk you can take as a single ticket. Zidane knows how to win these big games and I’m counting on him to do so.
If you’re not so confident, then go for double chance for the home side. That’s 1.61 odds on Betbiga.
I also expect goals from both sides. GG is set at 1.50 odds.
FERENCVAROS VS PUSKAS
In Hungary, there is a top of the table clash with first hosting second.
Both sides come into the encounter in great form. Ferencvaros have not lost in five games with three wins and two draws. For Puskas, they have lost one and won the remaining four of their last five games.
Question now is what’s going to happen on Saturday evening?
Well, the one certainty is that both sides love scoring against each other. There have been G/G in six of the last seven meetings between the pair.
I’m expecting this will be the case again on Saturday. G/G is set at a massive 1.83 odds on Betbiga.
The home side has only beaten Puskas twice in the last seven games with most of the encounters ending in a draw. However, I’m sticking with a home win here. That’s 1.63 odds.
RAPID VIENNA VS RB SALZBURB
In Austria, we are down to the battle for the league crown in a mini league of its own with the top six teams going at each other.
This Sunday, it’s first versus second once again in the Austrian Bundesliga.
Salzburg comes into the encounter on the back of five straight wins. Rapid on their part, have drawn two and won three of their last five.
Crucially, Die Roten Bullen (The Red Bulls) has beaten their opponents four times in last six meetings with the remaining two ending in a draw.
The one constant in this game – and indeed in this league – is the possibility of both teams scoring. In the past six meetings between the pair, we’ve had G/G in five encounters.
I expect goals from both teams here. Play G/G on Betbiga at 1.40 odds. I also expect Salzburg to come out victorious too. That’s set at 1.73 odds.
If you combine both options with Salzburg to win and GG, that’s set at a massive 2.70 odds on Betbiga. You can also try Salzburg win and over 2.5 at 2.11 odds.
BAYERN MUNICH VS UNION BERLIN
Last week’s huge win at Leipzig was a reprieve for Bayern in the race for the Bundesliga title. The home side know they can drop points now in two games and still retain the title with their seven-point advantage over second-placed Leipzig
With the two Champions League games against PSG sandwiched between this tie, Union can hope to revive their season that has seen some stuttering in recent weeks.
One win in five games can’t be compared to Bayern’s recent flawless league form. That said, I only expect one side to win this one and you won’t get prizes for guessing who. The home side to win at 1.40 odds is my first pick.
Union has scored in four of their last five games even in games they have been defeated. With Bayern possibly resting a few key players ahead of the return fixture against PSG, I expect Union to nick a goal here.
Bayern to win and GG is a good option then which comes at a massive 2.55 odds. Worth a punt if you ask me.
